Connoisseur Dry Cleaners are taking vast steps to become more environmentally friendly and are always looking for new ways to become Greener.
As part of this initiative we :
- Donate to and support the World Land Trust
- Offer Greener cleaning methods such as Green Earth
- Recycle returned bags, hangers, safety pins and clips
- Use only recyclable packaging
With the help of our customers choosing Green Earth Dry Cleaning we have made donations to the World Land Trust ‘Buy an Acre’ Fund to purchase and protect FOURTEEN Acres of threatened Atlantic Rainforest in Argentina.  We would like to thank all our customers for supporting our Greener initiative.
In addition to the above we have also recently converted a majority of our equipment to run on steam, and reduced our carbon footprint dramatically by making a significant investment to modernise our machinery.

The World Land Trust is an international conservation charity (Reg. No. 1001291) based in the UK. Since its foundation in 1989 as the World Wide Land Conservation Trust, the World Land Trust has been saving wildlife, acre by acre and has been working to preserve the world’s most biologically important and threatened lands. The World Land Trust has helped purchase and protect over 500,000 acres of habitats rich in wildlife, in Asia, Central and South America, Africa and the UK.
With the help of our customers we will be donating 25 pence from each item cleaned using GreenEarth to the World Land Trust. Every £50 donated by Connoisseur Dry Cleaners, and our customers, buys and protects one acre of tropical rainforest and other wildlife habitats.  The World Land Trust will provide us with news updates throughout the year and a certificate for every acre we save.  For more information about the World Land Trust and its projects click here.
